Hi, we’re The Drinks Desk — and yes, it really is just the two of us.

We’re a husband and wife team based in Singapore. One of us has spent decades working in the drinks industry across distribution, hospitality, commercial leadership, spirits, wine, beer, and nightlife. The other has spent roughly the same amount of time hearing about it non-stop over dinner — which, honestly, probably counts as a qualification in itself by now. 

At some point it made sense to turn all of that knowledge (and those very long dinner conversations) into something we actually own. So here we are.

The Drinks Desk is our independent publication covering the drinks trade across Singapore and the Asia-Pacific. We write about the stuff that matters to people inside the industry — the news, the market shifts, the big opinions, and the conversations that don’t always make it into the mainstream press.

You’ll find us covering everything from spirits, wine, beer and cocktails, to hospitality, nightlife, distribution, pricing trends, brand strategy, and whatever’s happening globally that’s shaking up our corner of the world.

We try to publish daily, and everything you read here comes from people who are genuinely passionate about this industry — not a faceless content team, not an algorithm.
